Neighbourhood Text Relay

Lost dog? Fire in the Park? Use this app to quickly relay a message to your neighbours.

The Neighbourhood Text Relay service was originally created 10 years ago using the mobile text messaging service and it quickly proved its usefulness but got out of hand quickly with slow messages and responses. With recent events this year I thought to revisit the idea and created this app to replace the service but have much quicker responsiveness.

This app uses your approximate position to listen for and to send messages to your nearest neighbours. Your position is not transmitted to them.
Send notifications with High priority to sound an alert or Low priority to give a non urgent message. Reply to messages in a chat format. Options to Ignore users and report abuse.
