After trying and failing to book a last minute ghost tour of the French quarter my wife and I decided to try out this app and take the tour. I have to say we really enjoyed ourselves. The directions were ready to follow, the stories were entertaining and gave a nice glimpse of history of the French quarter. If you have a few hours to kill (we took about 2 hours waking very casually and sound a few times) I definitely recommend giving this tour a go, far and above worth the $1.99 price.
