Tambola, also known as Housie or Bingo, is a fun and easy-to-play number game enjoyed by people of all ages. Each player gets a ticket with a grid of numbers, and a caller announces numbers randomly drawn from 1 to 90. Players mark off the numbers on their tickets as they’re called.
The aim is to complete specific patterns like:
• Early Five – First player to mark any five numbers
• Top Line – all numbers in the top row
• Middle Line – all numbers in the middle row
• Bottom Line - all numbers in the bottom row
• Full House – all numbers on the ticket
The first player to complete a pattern shouts “Housie!” to claim a win, which is then verified by the caller. It’s a perfect mix of luck, excitement, and social fun—often played at parties, clubs, and family gatherings
