RetailIQ-Camera

RetailIQ-Camera is a field-survey companion for authorized users of the GeoIQ / RetailIQ platform. It lets survey teams capture GPS-tagged video of retail properties and their surroundings, then upload that footage — together with its location track — straight to their RetailIQ workspace for analysis.

This is a business tool for RetailIQ customers and their field teams. A RetailIQ account is required to sign in.

KEY FEATURES

• GPS-tagged recording — every video is recorded with a synchronized GPS track, so each survey is precisely georeferenced on the map.
• Phone or 360° camera — record with your phone's camera, or connect a supported Insta360 camera over Bluetooth/Wi-Fi for immersive 360° capture.
• Live map & route — see your position and route on a map while recording and during playback.
• Secure uploads — send recordings to your organization's RetailIQ workspace over an encrypted connection, linked to the correct property and survey.
• Works with RetailIQ Market Connect — open straight from Market Connect with your property and survey context carried over.
• On-device library — review, rename, and manage your recordings and uploads before and after they're sent.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign in with your RetailIQ email (one-time passcode).
2. Choose the phone camera or connect your Insta360 camera.
3. Record your walkthrough — GPS is captured automatically.
4. Upload the survey to RetailIQ for your team to review.

PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY

The app uses your camera and microphone to record, and location to georeference recordings during active capture (shown by a foreground-service notification). It does not track your location in the background, and contains no ads or third-party analytics.

RetailIQ-Camera is designed for professional field surveys and requires authorization from your organization to use.
