User Reviews

Users appreciate Twilight School's compelling stories, beautiful artwork, and engaging music paired with diverse romance options. However, many are frustrated by the heavy reliance on in-game currency for key choices, expensive or slow ways to earn them, and stressful mini-games. The main protagonist's characterization and lack of art for some characters detract from enjoyment. Episodes and endings are seen as brief and somewhat unsatisfying. Despite these issues, players find great potential and are generally positive about the game's core narrative and design.
Pros
  • The stories have unique and interesting plots with good character development.
  • The art and character design are beautiful and visually pleasing.
  • The music selection complements the scenes well and enhances the experience.
  • The game has a diverse cast of love interests and good moral lessons in its storyline.
  • The game structure allows interaction with multiple love interests rather than a single focused route.
Cons
  • The in-game currency (rubies/diamonds) system is frustrating, requiring payment or watching ads to make desirable choices, limiting free play.
  • Mini games are either stressful or not rewarding enough, causing anxiety or dissatisfaction.
  • The main character is perceived as immature or unintelligent, which detracts from the story experience.
  • Episodes and endings are considered short or underdeveloped, leaving players wanting more depth and length.
  • Some characters, especially antagonists and side characters, lack proper artwork and appear as silhouettes, reducing immersion.

the stories are great, the characters are beautiful, so its sad that you constantly need diamonds to bond with your favorite characters, cause you have to watch ads to get them, and play a mini game once to get a small amount of diamonds. Not to mention it's three dollars to get some diamonds. Maybe if the price were cheaper, and you didn't need diamonds 24/7 then it'd be better. Other than that the art and characters truly are amazing, but it really is pay/wait every to have fun. Disappointing

Nice story in both seasons, unique plot and diverse love interests. Unfortunately, once again Genius shoots themselves in the foot. Overpriced choices, making this a visual novel game and otome only if you pay money to the devs, too long wait time to watch ads for rubies, mini game is a joke- too few points gained from the always annoying slot machine. If not for the greed from devs, I'd give 5 stars, if it really was an otome. As is...3 is being generous.
