GATA calorie tracker & counter

Want to lose weight and feel better? GATA counts calories from a photo of your meal in seconds. Snap a picture, describe it by voice, or type it in - GATA identifies the food and tracks the calories automatically. Search a database of 5 million foods or scan the barcode. No manual entry, no guesswork.

GATA is an AI calorie tracker and weight loss app for people who want to lose weight on a calorie deficit without weighing ingredients or typing every meal into a database. It is built for people actively trying to lose weight: people restarting after a diet that did not stick, people who quit a calorie counter because logging took too long, people who cook at home, and people who eat out often with no nutrition label to scan.

Where GATA fits into a day of losing weight:
You photograph breakfast on your way out and it is logged before the coffee is done. At lunch you get a plate with bread, meat, and vegetables on it, take one picture, and GATA logs all three as separate foods with their own calories inside the same meal. You describe dinner out loud and GATA splits that into ingredients too. At the end of the week you see how much of your calorie deficit survived, and what to change to keep losing weight.

Everything in one calorie tracker:
• Calorie counter with photo, voice, and barcode logging
• One photo of a full plate, logged as separate foods with their own calories
• Macro tracker with daily protein, carb, and fat targets
• Calorie deficit calculator with a daily target that updates as you lose weight
• Water intake tracker with hydration goals
• Fasting tracker with custom intermittent fasting windows
• Weight loss progress charts and trends
• Food diary with favorite meals for fast repeat logging

Common questions about calorie tracking and weight loss:

Losing weight without weighing your food
You do not need a food scale. GATA estimates the portion from the photo, sets a daily calorie target from your goal weight, and every log updates how much of that target is left.

Logging a full plate with several foods on it
Most calorie counters make you add each food as a separate entry. Take one photo and GATA recognizes every food on the plate, gives each its own calories and macros, and keeps them together as one meal.

Do I have to weigh my food to count calories?
No. If GATA reads a portion too high or too low, correct it and the day's calorie total updates.

Tracking calories when you eat out
Restaurant food has no nutrition label. Photograph the plate and GATA logs what is on it, so a meal out still lands in your calorie deficit.

Tracking calories in home cooked meals
Describe the dish by voice or text and GATA splits it into ingredients with calories and macros, instead of searching each one by hand.

Hitting your protein and macros while losing weight
Daily protein, carb, and fat targets sit alongside your calorie target, which keeps weight loss coming off fat rather than muscle.

Counting calories and intermittent fasting at the same time
Set your own fasting window and track it next to your calorie intake, so you see how the two move your weight together.

I gave up on calorie counting before. Why would this be different?
Most people quit because logging takes too long. One photo of a whole plate takes seconds, so the log survives busy days, and the weekly summary shows the pattern, not a wall of numbers.

What a calorie counter does not tell you about your weight loss
Weekly summaries show how your calorie intake evolves. GATA spots patterns in your food choices - the meals that push you over your calorie target, the days protein drops - and shows where to adjust to hit your weight loss goal faster.
