WhyChain

WhyChain is an offline reasoning studio for tracing the real causes behind a problem, belief, or decision.


Start with one clear statement, then build a disciplined chain of why-answers step by step. Review each link for strength, mark the weakest link, run the Root Gate, and finish with a defensible ending such as Root Cause Reached, Assumption Reached, Controllable Factor Reached, or Knowledge Gap Reached.


Every completed session becomes a read-only WhyChain Card with the full chain, link quality, issue flags, Root Gate result, deepest cause, unknowns, next investigation question, tags, and revision history. Later changes create a new version instead of overwriting the original, so your reasoning stays traceable.


WhyChain also includes a local insights dashboard that summarizes chain depth, Root Gate pass rate, weak or unclear links, ending patterns, common issue flags, tags, and open investigation questions.


The app works fully offline. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, subscriptions, feeds, or external APIs.
