Welcome to PMU – Aura Merge, a strategic tile-merging puzzle game designed to challenge your spatial awareness and tactical planning on a clean 6x6 grid.
In this brain-teasing puzzle game, your objective is to manage your board space, plan your moves ahead, and trigger massive chain reactions to achieve the highest score possible. Can you master the grid and forge the legendary Aura Star?
Core Gameplay Mechanics
The gameplay of Aura Merge is simple to learn but offers deep strategic depth:
PMU Place Shapes: View your upcoming shape (from Tier 1 to Tier 4) and choose any empty cell on the 6x6 board to place it.
Match and Merge: Place three or more identical shapes adjacent to each other—either horizontally or vertically—to merge them.
Upgrade Tiers: The matching tiles are consumed and instantly combine into a single upgraded shape of the next tier. The newly upgraded shape spawns at the exact position where you placed the final piece.

PMU – Work your way up through 7 distinct tiers of shapes, optimizing every placement:
Tier 1: Circle (●)
Tier 2: Triangle (▲)
Tier 3: Square (■)
Tier 4: Diamond (◆)
Tier 5: Pentagon (⬟)
Tier 6: Hexagon (⬢)
Tier 7: Aura Star (★) – The final, highest tier. Once created, the Aura Star cannot be merged further.
Chain Reactions and Multiplier Scores
Combo System: Plan ahead to trigger satisfying chain reactions. When a merge creates a new shape that lands next to two or more identical shapes of its new tier, it instantly triggers another merge.
Score Multipliers: Each consecutive merge in a single turn increases your combo multiplier, rapidly boosting your total score.
Bonus Points: Merging more than the minimum three shapes at once awards bonus points. Set up complex board layouts to clear space and maximize your score.
Progression and PMU Survival Strategy
Starting State: Every game begins with a randomized board seeded with 8 Tier 1 (Circle) or Tier 2 (Triangle) shapes to kickstart your strategy.
Balanced RNG: Upcoming pieces generate based on a balanced probability curve. Lower-tier shapes appear frequently, while Tier 4 shapes are rare, highly valuable natural drops.
PMU Game Over Condition: Keep your board clean. The game ends when the 6x6 grid is completely filled, with no empty cells remaining and no automatic merges triggered. Careful space management is the key to survival.
