A grandmother's old seaside house is boarded up and grey. You have a 7x9 board, a pile of planks, paint cans and flower seeds — and one very simple promise: every merge you make lights up one more corner of that house.

Home Makeover: Merge & Design is a cozy merge puzzle wrapped around a real home makeover. Drag two identical pieces together and they become one better piece. Fill the orders hanging at the top of the screen, earn 1-3 stars, and spend those stars on the porch, the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom and the garden — until the whole fixer-upper glows again.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Drag two same-level pieces onto each other to merge them into the next level up — the classic merge puzzle rule, no tutorial needed.
• Tap a producer to pop out a fresh plank, paint can or seed.
• Deliver the order cards at the top before their timers run out. Delivered pieces fly off the board and free up space.
• Three merge chains — wood, paint and plants — unlock as you go, so the board keeps getting richer.
• Merge fast: three merges inside three seconds start a combo that speeds up your producers and pays extra coins.
• Stuck? The hint button highlights every possible pair on the board (3 per level).

RENOVATE THE WHOLE HOUSE
• Stars are the only renovation currency — earn them by finishing levels with time and empty squares to spare.
• Repair rooms one part at a time: porch, living room, kitchen, bedroom, garden and more.
• The cutaway house at the top of the screen is your save file made visible. Rooms go from grey pencil lines to warm cream, windows light up, and the game's whole colour grade warms as you rebuild.
• Every finished room unlocks a short scene with the neighbours.

99 LEVELS, THEN ENDLESS
• 99 levels that climb steadily: higher-level orders, tighter timers, more orders on screen at once, more junk crowding the grid.
• New mechanics arrive on schedule — a second chain at level 4, junk tiles at level 8, a third chain at 12, treasure-chest choices at 16, rare seeds and a collection album at 20, then a new room theme every 10 levels.
• Finish level 99 to fully restore the house, then keep playing Endless Renovation for score.

RELAXING, BUT NOT SLEEPY
Two clocks are always ticking — each order card and the level itself — while new pieces keep landing on the grid. Merge into the wrong chain and you waste squares; the board edges flash red when you are down to your last four. That "almost jammed, delivered anyway" save is the whole point of the game.

COZY BY DESIGN
Storybook pastel art, hand-drawn-looking pieces on rounded cards, a warm wood-grain board, a seaside town on the horizon, wood-chip and flower-petal particles, and a satisfying click on every merge. Soft paper grain and warm vignette make it an easy game to unwind with.

SMALL THINGS WE LIKE
• Treasure chests and rare seeds show up as you play — take the safe pieces or gamble on the chest.
• Rare seeds go into a collection album; complete a page and you get gems.
• Skins are cosmetic only: cat coat patterns, board wood themes and merge particle styles.

FREE TO PLAY
Home Makeover: Merge & Design is free with optional ads and in-app purchases. Coins you earn from playing buy every upgrade in the game. Rainbow gems can be bought, but you also get them from your first win each day, from finishing a room and from completing album pages. Paid items only save time: a continue is limited to once per level and 15 seconds, boosters are time-limited and capped, and order difficulty depends on the level number alone — never on what you spend. Free players can 3-star all 99 levels.
