Color Sort Lab: Water Sort

Every bottle on the rack is a mess of candy-colored liquid. Your job is simple to say and hard to do: pour, sort and untangle it all until every bottle holds one pure color.

Color Sort Lab is a relaxing water sort puzzle wrapped in soft pastel art. Tap a bottle and it floats up to show it is selected, tap a second one and the top color pours across in a thick, syrupy arc with a satisfying "glug". Finish a bottle and it bounces, sprays matching particles and pops a "Nice!" — clear the whole rack and confetti flies as the notes climb.

CALM ON THE SURFACE, SNEAKY UNDERNEATH
The rule takes five seconds to learn: you may only pour onto the same color, or into an empty bottle. Surviving is the hard part. Empty bottles get scarcer, colors pile up, and every pour has to be read a step ahead — the wrong one walls off your own escape route. When the rack is about to hit a dead end, every bottle starts trembling as a warning, giving you one last chance to find the way out.

99 LEVELS THAT ALWAYS HAVE A SOLUTION
Each level is built by scrambling a solved rack backwards, so a valid solution is guaranteed — no impossible layouts, ever. Restart and the layout reshuffles slightly, so you get a fresh angle on the same color sort puzzle.
• Levels 1-5: three colors and spare empties, just to learn the pour
• Levels 6-39: colors climb from 4 to 12, bottles from 6 to 16, empties drop to 2
• Level 40+: hidden layers — liquid you haven't uncovered shows as a grey "?"
• Level 48+: locked bottles that only open once you finish other bottles
• Level 56+: move-limited levels, with the move budget tightening as you climb
• A milestone treasure chest every 10 levels

SCORE, RECORDS AND STREAKS
Stars are earned by move count against the optimal solution — 3 stars means within two moves of perfect. Every level remembers your personal best, and beating it pops a "New Record!". Clear levels without undoing and your win streak multiplies your coins up to 2x. Squeak through with only one legal pour left and the game calls it out: "That was close!"

MADE TO LOOK AND SOUND GOOD
Cream gradients, drifting pastel color blobs, a warm wooden rack and real glass bottles with highlights, meniscus curves, bubbles and a gentle wobble on the surface. Every completed bottle gets corked with a soft "pop".

Coins come from clearing levels, stars, chests and win streaks; gems can be bought or slowly earned from milestone chests and personal records. Purchases speed you up, they never play for you: tool packs, a one-time starter bundle, a 30-minute double-coin card, a dead-end revive (once per level), and purely cosmetic skins that change nothing about difficulty. Move-limited levels never give you extra moves for money. Every one of the 99 levels is beatable without spending a cent.
