User Reviews

Users praise Simple Pedometer for being simple, easy to use, and free of ads or data selling, with many calling it accurate and well designed. The most common complaint is unreliable step counting: some users report zero steps, paused tracking, or missed daily resets, especially on recent Samsung phones. Several users also want the graph to show kilometres, miles, time, or energy burned instead of only step counts.

Pros

No ads or intrusive data collection
Simple, clean, and easy to use
Accurate step counting for many users
Resets daily automatically

Cons

Fails to count steps or stops counting for some users, including on newer Samsung phones
Step counting stops or pauses unless the phone is in hand or checked before walking
Graph view lacks kilometre, mile, time, or energy options
