Game is completely dysfunctional after picking a mod in the tutorial, I've played this game many years ago and had unlocked everything while connected to google play yet my save is not present nor can I sign in with google play when the game is first launched, only can be signed in as guest.

Why can't I move on to the next wave at the tutorial? I'm stuck at wave 1 when I pick my mod, and I can't move on. No enemies are spawning. I tried deleting and downloading it. Still the same. This game used to be my favorite when I was a kid.
