Galaxy Cosmos

Galaxy Cosmos is a glowing, one-thumb deep-space colour-hop arcade game.

A luminous orb drifts at the foot of a towering column of slowly spinning orbital rings, deep in a violet nebula. Every ring is split into four cosmic colours -- electric cyan, nebula magenta, starlight gold and plasma violet -- and they turn endlessly against the void. Tap anywhere to boost the orb upward; gravity pulls it back down, so keep tapping to climb across the cosmos. The twist: the orb glows one of those four colours, and it can only pass up through the arc of a ring that matches it. Hover just beneath a ring, read the spin, wait for your colour to swing into your path, then ascend clean through the gap. Touch the wrong colour and you lose a life.

Clear a ring and the orb instantly recolours at random -- one moment you are cyan, the next violet -- so you must read your new colour and re-plan on the fly. Stardust drifts between some rings; boost through it for bonus points and a higher voyage score. Chart your way up through ten hand-tuned galaxies that spin faster, reverse direction and stack the rings closer together the deeper you go, and chase a new best score on every one.
