Embossary turns your phone into a tactile vocabulary binder, where every new word you learn becomes a physical keepsake. From the Home tab, your total word count and the number of cards you reviewed today appear as large dark blue ink‑stamped numbers right on the inside cover. Just below them, your three most recently added words peek out from a transparent pocket sleeve, inviting you to keep building your personal collection. Tap the dotted outline of a blank card to jump straight to the Add tab, where a ruled paper form waits for your new word, its translation, an optional language drop‑down, and any pronunciation notes or examples. Saving the card snaps it into your binder with a satisfying ring, and you can find it instantly in the Words tab. There, all your vocabulary lives inside protective plastic sleeves, each card showing the foreign word in a handwritten font next to a small language flag. Tap any card to flip it with a smooth rotation, revealing the translation in a typewriter font and your personal notes on the back. A search bar at the top lets you locate any entry quickly, even as your collection grows. When you are ready to review, the Practice tab shuffles your entire deck and presents one large card at a time. Tap the card to flip it and see the meaning, then tap “Got it” to underline the translation with a bold green stroke, or “Review again” to highlight it with a soft yellow marker. A simple counter keeps track of your position, and all your choices are stored directly on your device. You can update any word’s details and delete cards you no longer need, watching them slide out of their sleeves with a gentle paper‑shuffling sound. Because everything lives locally, your vocabulary notebook stays completely private and works without an account, a sign‑in, or an internet connection.
