User Reviews

Overall, users appreciate the app's simple, data-driven approach and easy access to historical fuel-up records, with the option to export data. However, the Android app is widely criticized as outdated and unreliable, largely a web wrapper rather than a native app, with persistent UI scaling issues, sign-up and login glitches, and missing key features. Many say it's better to use a mobile browser or a different Fuelly app, and call for a proper Android update.

Pros

Simple, easy-to-use interface for tracking fuel ups and maintenance.
Keeps historical fuel-up and vehicle data across multiple vehicles.
Data export feature to move data to another app.
Lightweight, minimalist design with straightforward tracking (no fluff).
Provides basic statistics about fuel consumption.

Cons

Outdated Android app with little to no updates and poor compatibility with newer Android versions.
Feels like just a wrapper for the website rather than a native app; limited mobile experience.
Mobile UI issues: text and controls don't scale, screens cut off, sign-up screens often unusable.
Sign-up and login problems persist: captcha not visible, password errors, and occasional logouts.
Missing features and reliability: lacks service logs/reminders and other functionality; many users prefer the browser or another app.

2025.07.16 seems to be a great app and now it no longer recognizes any gas stations and it just seems to be a noticed hasn't been updated in over 10 years so I guess I'll have to find another app
