User reviews
HexaBattles offers engaging strategy gameplay and decent mechanics with simple graphics appropriate for a free ad-supported game. However, it suffers from excessive forced ads that disrupt the experience, poor or unfair AI opponents causing frustration, frequent loading or freezing issues, and serious privacy concerns due to extensive data collection. Some levels force players to watch ads to proceed, potentially making the game unplayable without accepting ads.
Pros
- Engaging strategic gameplay that keeps players on their toes
- Graphics are simple but acceptable for a free, ad-supported game
- Ads are generally unintrusive with skip options
- Game mechanics are decent and well rounded
Cons
- Excessive and forced ads disrupting gameplay
- Opponent AI is poor or non-existent, leading to unfair difficulty spikes
- Game often freezes or fails to load properly
- Privacy concerns due to extensive data collection
- Some levels require watching ads to progress, making the game borderline unplayable without ads

The opponent has absolutely no AI at all. Completely lazy cash grab. The computer moves are pure random and difficulty is based on how unbalance overpowered the brainless computer is...

For a free ad supported game who's graphics look like they were drawn by a six year old, probably one of my top 3 games right now... The strategy needed to win is enough in most levels that it keeps you on your toes, (level 40 is darn near impossible to beat without a power up) lol But also the ads are un obtrusive and most only have to watch the first 10 sec to skip. All in all 5star for a REALLY well rounded game ๐๐
