unable to use with my Cogeco subscription. when clicking it, it just gives an error saying it can't access server. I have Freedome as part of my Cogeco internet subscription. fail.

Used to be okay, but lately it has been EXTREMELY SLOW. I would not use it for free anymore, paying for it feels like scam. If you think about using it for streaming something, don't. IPs are blocked about 99% chance.
