frequentix turns a phone or tablet into a door device for your event. Scan tickets on the way in, and sell to anyone who turns up without one.

There is no login. A member of staff creates a pairing code in the frequentix dashboard, the device claims it, and that is the setup done. The pairing fixes the device to one event and one entry point, and can be revoked from the dashboard at any time.

SCAN TICKETS
Point the camera at a ticket and get a clear allow or deny with the reason spelled out. The ticket type, the attendee and the seat come back with the verdict, so you know where to send people. Tickets can also be checked by typing their reference, for when a screen is too cracked or too dim to scan.

KEEP SCANNING OFFLINE
Venue Wi-Fi drops out. The app keeps a small offline record of which tickets are still valid, so it carries on admitting people with no signal, then uploads every scan once you are back online. Refunded and cancelled tickets are still caught while offline. Offline scanning is available on plans that include it.

SELL AT THE DOOR
The device shows the ticket types your organiser has put on the door. Take the sale in cash, or issue free and complimentary tickets, then check those tickets straight in from the same screen. Buyer details are only collected where the event asks for them, and you can share a receipt or email the tickets on the spot.

CHOOSE SEATS
For events with reserved seating, a seat map opens so the buyer picks exactly where they sit. Availability updates live while you are choosing, so the same seat is never sold twice.

KEEP TRACK OF THE SHIFT
See how many scans were allowed, denied, and are still waiting to upload, along with the sales taken on this device. Close the event when you are done and the device wipes itself.

BUILT FOR THE DOOR
No attendee names, emails or contact details are kept on the device. Details appear for the couple of seconds a verdict is on screen, and then they are gone. The app takes on your organiser's branding once paired, and follows the light or dark theme of the phone.
