FreeStyle LibreLink – LU

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. You can measure your glucose by scanning the sensor with your smartphone. FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor users can now receive automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, updated every minute, and also receive alerts when your glucose level is too low or too high.[1][2]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow, and glucose history
* When using FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors, receive alerts when your glucose level is too high or too low [2]
* View reports such as time in range and daily patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family (with your permission) [3]

SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY

USING THE APP AND READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can be triggered only on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or only on your smartphone (not both). To receive alarms on your smartphone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with your reader. Once the sensor is started with the reader, you can also scan that sensor with your smartphone.

Remember that the app and reader do not share data. To get the complete information on one device, scan your sensor with that device every 8 hours; otherwise, your reports will not include all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices at LibreView.com.

FreeStyle LibreLink is intended to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with the app and a sensor.
