◆Important: Regarding the use of the AccessibilityService API◆
FocusGoal uses the Android AccessibilityService API to implement its core functions: app blocking, time limits, usage limits, and displaying the block screen. It is used solely to detect when an app you've selected as "blocked" is displayed in the foreground and to display the block screen or alternative action suggestions. The app does not read text or input content on the screen (messages, search terms, passwords, etc.). Acquired information is processed only within the device and is never transmitted externally or shared with third parties. A consent dialog will be displayed before initial activation, and you can disable it at any time from the settings. (See the end of this explanation for details.)

FocusGoal uses the Android AccessibilityService API to implement its core functions: "app blocking," "time limits," "number of uses limits," and "displaying the block screen." This is necessary to achieve the app's purpose of supporting concentration and goal achievement.

【Purpose of Using This API】
When an app you have selected as a "block target" is displayed in the foreground, FocusGoal overlays the block screen, restriction screen, and alternative action suggestion screen. This helps prevent impulsively opening apps such as social media and video apps, and encourages replacement with actions that contribute to achieving your goals.

[Information Accessed]
• Package name of the currently displayed app
• App switching event (typeWindowStateChanged)

[Information FocusGoal Does Not Read]
• Text displayed on the screen
• Content you enter (messages, search keywords, passwords, etc.)
• Internal data and account information of other apps

[Data Handling]
• Acquired information is processed only within the device.
• It is not sent to servers or shared with developers or third parties.
• It is not used for advertising, analysis, or sales purposes.

[User Consent and Control]
• Before initial activation, a consent dialog explaining the purpose, information accessed, and processing policy within the device will be displayed. Only if you select "Agree" will you be directed to the Android accessibility settings screen.
• You can disable it at any time from Android's "Settings → Accessibility → FocusGoal"
• Even if disabled, functions other than app blocking (goal management, notifications, widgets, etc.) will remain available.

[About Automated Operations]
FocusGoal will not change settings or automatically perform operations of other apps without your permission. It will not perform gesture operations such as taps. Please note that this function utilizes the Accessibility API because other restricted APIs cannot achieve the same detection accuracy and occlusion performance.
