Catch Phone Intruder with Intruder Capture, the ultimate Android security app designed to protect your privacy by capturing unauthorized access attempts. Whenever someone tries to unlock your phone using a wrong PIN, password, or pattern, the hidden front camera silently takes a selfie of the intruder and saves it in a secure, password-protected gallery.
This app works seamlessly with your device's existing lock methods, operates silently without draining battery, and requires Device Administrator permission to detect failed unlocks. Features include photo hiding, timestamping on images, lock screen and app protection, and easy monitoring of all unauthorized access attempts. Keep your smartphone secure 24/7 and find out exactly who tried to use your phone without permission.
Users appreciate the app's ease of use, effective intruder photo capture, and lack of ads in the free version. However, many complain about the unreliable premium email feature for sending photos, poor developer support, and limited capture functionality. The app is praised for password-protected access to intruder images but criticized for failing to capture photos when the device is locked and for limited capture counts. Overall, the app is functional but has significant flaws in advanced features and support.
Pros
The app is easy to use and straightforward in functionality.
It effectively captures photos of intruders taking the phone without permission.
The free version of the app works well and does not contain intrusive ads.
The app allows setting a password to protect the captured intruder photos.
It provides features to monitor phone access attempts and intrusions remotely.
Cons
The premium feature to send intruder photos via email often does not work or is unreliable.
There is poor or nonexistent developer support; communication for issues is difficult.
The app sometimes stops working after taking a limited number of photos despite settings for unlimited captures.
Some users report that the app only captures intruder photos after the device is unlocked, not while locked, reducing effectiveness.
Lack of cloud or email delivery of intruder photos limits usefulness in theft situations where the phone is inaccessible.
