Tumbling E Chart

Tumbling E Chart is an optically precise distance visual acuity app designed for children (6+), parents, and general practitioners to screen for early signs of myopia. The app supports Standard and optional Modified Tumbling E optotypes, predefined test distances (6–2 m and 20–6 ft), multiple notation formats (decimal, fraction, logMAR, MAR, VAS/VAR), and scenarios for doctor testing, mirror self-checks, or Bluetooth keyboard input.

Choose Manual or Auto Scoring modes; swipe gestures record correct/incorrect responses and the app can automatically calculate scores. Enable "Record Scores" to track visual acuity progression across multiple subjects. While suitable to replace printed eye charts for basic screening, Tumbling E Chart is not a substitute for comprehensive eye exams by an optometrist and does not test for conditions like strabismus or astigmatism—seek professional care for any concerns.
