FocusGrinder Companion

FocusGrinder Companion is a companion app to our main website FocusGrinder. https://dev.focusgrinder.ai
FocusGrinder Companion helps you take control of your screen time and stay productive. It works alongside the FocusGrinder web app to block distracting apps during focus sessions, track your app usage, and sync with your calendar so you can build better habits.

KEY APP FEATURES

Block Distracting Apps
Choose which apps to block during focus sessions. When a session is active, FocusGrinder prevents you from opening distracting apps so you can stay on task. Works automatically in the background using Android's Device Admin API.

Real-Time Session Tracking
See your active focus session with a live countdown timer and blocking status at a glance. Know exactly how much focused time you have left and which apps are currently blocked.

App Usage Insights
Track how much time you spend on each app throughout the day. View detailed usage statistics broken down by app and category to understand your screen time habits and identify where your time goes.

Calendar Sync
Connect your calendar to automatically schedule focus sessions around your events. FocusGrinder syncs with your calendar so blocking activates when you need to concentrate most.

Push Notifications
Get notified when focus sessions start and end so you always know when blocking is active. Stay informed without needing to open the app.

Seamless Web Integration
FocusGrinder Companion pairs with the FocusGrinder web application. Start sessions from the web, and your phone instantly begins blocking distracting apps. All your data stays in sync across devices.

Easy Setup
A guided onboarding flow walks you through granting permissions, selecting apps to block, and connecting your account. Get up and running in under a minute.
