Focus: Study Timer & Blocker

Focus is a calm Pomodoro study timer with an app blocker built in, and a notebook where AI types out your handwritten notes. Start a block, cover distracting apps, count down to exams and study live with friends, while each day you focus builds your village. No account: your study history stays on your phone.

Your study notes, typed out by AI
• A notebook per subject, and your own: scan pages, type, or write by hand with a pen or finger.
• Type it out: AI turns a photo of your handwritten notes into a clean typed page, formulas included (as LaTeX).
• Rewrite any page with AI: shorter, explained, an outline, fill the gaps, flashcards, a practice test, a review sheet, another language or your way.
• Sort pages by title, category and group, search them, share a PDF, or make a notebook into a book with a cover, contents and chapters.

Block distractions, keep your stats honest
• App blocker: during a block, the apps you choose are covered by a calm screen, per subject if you like. Calls are never covered.
• Focus guard: over ten seconds out of the app counts as an interruption, and your clean score shows how much of each block you stayed with.
• Focus++: keep your phone face down; pick it up and the timer pauses.
• Do Not Disturb during blocks, a Quick Settings tile, and strict mode (Premium).

• A focus timer with short and long breaks, 25/5 or your own lengths.

A village that grows as you study
Each day you focus adds to your village, era by era, from a campfire to a city of the future. Stop and it wilts, then slowly falls back. Share it as a postcard, or the whole village.

Study with friends
• Add friends with a six-letter code or an invite link that opens Focus: no email, no sign-up.
• Study together: share a session link and everyone's block ends at the same moment, live or planned.
• Groups with leaderboards, weekly goals, streaks and competitions.
• Link your profile to Google to keep it on a new phone.

Exam countdowns, goals and streaks
• Pick your exam (SAT, ACT, AP, IB and more) and its date is filled in: Focus counts down and reminds you.
• Daily and weekly goals, a streak, break days that don't break it, and a week in review every Monday.

Brown noise and a calm screen
Brown noise, soft rain, 10 Hz alpha waves, ocean waves, singing bowls and a fireplace, all offline; mix two or import your own study music. Ten themes for day and night, a clean mode with only the timer, color vision modes, high contrast, larger text and reduced motion, for anyone who concentrates better with less going on, ADHD or not.

A study tracker that keeps you going
Time by day, week, month and year, your best hours and subjects, and ratings that show what works for you. Encrypted backup files, or a daily Google Drive backup (Premium).

Private by design
Your sessions and stats never leave your phone; a page goes to AI only when you ask. Friends see only your nickname, this week's minutes, your streak and when you're focusing.

One short video a day starts a 24-hour pass to the app blocker, the focus guard, Focus++, every sound and Journeys up to 3 hours; new users get the pass on their first day. Premium (monthly, yearly or lifetime) includes all that with no videos and adds Journeys up to 8 hours, nine more themes, strict mode, your whole history, CSV export, daily Google Drive backup, unlimited imported tracks, village decorations and 60 AI credits a month. AI credits pay for typing out and rewriting: one is free to try typing out, and packs of 50 are for anyone.
