SensorKit turns the sensors already inside your phone into a set of precise, good-looking measuring instruments. One app, a clean instrument-panel design, and ten tools that are genuinely useful in everyday life.

Open the app and you get a simple grid of tools. Each one opens on its own screen with a large, clear readout and a smooth gauge, dial or chart drawn on the fly.

Tools included:
📐 Bubble Level — check whether a surface is level, with tilt angles on two axes.
🧭 Compass — magnetic heading and cardinal direction, with a calibration hint when accuracy is low.
🔊 Sound Meter — a relative loudness level with a live chart over time.
💡 Light Meter — ambient illuminance in lux, from a dark room to bright daylight.
🧲 Metal Detector — magnetic field strength that reacts to nearby metal, with an adjustable threshold and alert.
📳 Vibrometer — vibration amplitude and an oscillation graph.
📐 Protractor — measure the angle of any surface you rest the phone against.
📏 Ruler — an on-screen ruler in centimetres or inches, with manual calibration.
🔦 Flashlight — a quick, handy torch button.
🌡️ Barometer — air pressure and an approximate altitude, on devices that have a pressure sensor.

Built for real devices:
Not every phone carries every sensor. SensorKit checks your hardware at startup and clearly marks any tool your device cannot run — so you never land on a blank or broken screen, and the app never crashes because a sensor is missing.

Honest measurements:
Where a reading can only be approximate — the sound meter, the ruler, the barometer altitude, or the compass before calibration — the app says so plainly. Relative values are never dressed up as exact laboratory figures. These tools are great for everyday checks, not for professional certification.

Private and offline:
SensorKit runs entirely on your device. No internet connection, no account, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no data collection. Your measurements stay with you.

Thoughtful design:
A calm dark theme, readable numbers, and smooth needles and charts rendered in real time. Settings let you switch measurement units, choose a theme, and tune the metal-detector alert and ruler calibration to your liking.
