HOW IT WORKS

A flow is one sentence: when this happens, if these things are true, do that. "When a calendar event starts, if it's a weekday, silence the ringer."

Drag triggers, logic and actions onto a canvas and wire them together. Pass data between steps with {{expressions}}. Branches, loops, delays, math and sub-flows are built in. Most flows take under a minute, or install a template and tweak it.

YOUR PHONE, WITH AN API

No other automation app does this. Flowroid runs an authenticated HTTP server on the phone itself, so n8n, Make, Node-RED, Home Assistant or a shell script can fire flows and read device state over your network. Off by default, bound to localhost until you enable it.

Three variable scopes: global, flow-local, and secret ones encrypted with the Android Keystore. 27+ condition operators with AND/OR grouping.


THE ASSISTANT

Ask in plain language and it runs your flows and Flowroid's own device actions. Anything that changes your device asks first, showing exactly what will run.

No account with an AI provider, no API key to paste. Pro includes a monthly allowance, and top-ups never expire. Run out and the assistant pauses until it resets. Your automations are never affected, whatever your balance.

Prefer your own model? Point Flowroid at Ollama, LM Studio or any OpenAI-compatible server you host, unmetered and free.


WHAT IT WON'T DO

Flowroid has no accessibility service, so it can't tap buttons or read the screen inside other apps. It automates the phone itself, and the assistant runs Flowroid's own actions, nothing else. It doesn't read or send SMS. A few actions depend on your manufacturer's Android build, and the app says so.
