Ladja is the classic game of hidden fleets and well-aimed guesses. Arrange your ships across a grid — however you like, with a quick auto-placement if you're impatient — then take turns firing shots into the enemy waters, chasing the splashes and hits until one fleet is sunk. It's simple to grasp and tense to play: every hit narrows the search, every miss costs a turn, and the thrill of calling the last square of a ship never gets old.
Play against a genuinely clever computer admiral that hunts intelligently — probing in patterns, then closing in to finish a ship once it lands a hit — across a few difficulty levels, or pass the phone for a two-player hot-seat duel. Hits bloom, misses ripple, sunk ships are revealed, and a clean side-by-side of your fleet and your shots keeps the whole battle readable at a glance. A running tally tracks your wins across a series.
