FLI Yadgha Keyboard

The Yadgha (also spelled Yidgha) language uses a modified form of the Arabic script for writing. Therefore, the keyboards designed for it are Arabic-script layouts with additional characters specific to Yadgha.

The main features of the Yadgha language keyboard are:

Script: It uses the Arabic script, which is a right-to-left writing system.

Alphabet: The Yadgha alphabet has 45 letters, being largely based on the Urdu alphabet but incorporating special characters from languages like Khowar and Pashto to represent sounds unique to Yadgha.

Functionality: Such keyboard software maps the extended Arabic characters required for Yadgha—including unique consonants and diacritics—to a standard English (UK) or similar physical keyboard, often utilising shift or AltGr keys to access the full set of characters.
