I downloaded the app based on the Gemini AI recommendation. Immediately found none of the features needed were available without a premium subscription. paid $54 with tax for a one year subscription. Specifically wanted a contour map and fishing guide for Priest Lake in Idaho. Couldn't download a map. No contour map displayed. No fishing hotspots. In fact NO MAP AT ALL. After less than an hour contacted Google to have my money refunded.

I am 47 years old. I have known fishing for give or take 47 years and I've been around for pretty much every application developed. If I were to have compiled a list and put it in the order of absolute favorite to the most abysmal, this app would be at the very beginning of abysmal. Not only was the experience frustrating, a sensation of spontaneous human combustion delivered agony to my already struggling brain each and every idiotic time I tried to actually use the "interactive" map.
