Skimboarding helps you find places to skim, connect with the community, and keep track of where you’ve skimmed.

Use the app to discover shore breaks in your local area or explore spots around the world. With the Skim-World map, you can see where people have been skimming lately. Free users can view recent activity and explore the map. FirePass users can unlock filtering tools to find spots that have been working recently for skimmers at their level.
Skimboarding is built from session reports by real skimmers. That means the map stays current through community input, not random guesses.

Your feedback, through session logs, directly helps other skimmers know what’s worth checking. And if you’re worried about local spots getting overcrowded, Skimboarding gives the community a way to protect sensitive locations. Sacred spots can be marked as Hidden Gems, and if the community agrees, those spots are removed from the public map.
Skimboarding also helps you get connected with the wider skimboarding world. Find skim clubs, check competition listings, and connect with organizers. Looking for a new board? The app can help with that too.
