Gold of Aztec

An arcade game where precision and reaction time are key. The player swipes to launch a boomerang—its trajectory and speed depend on the force of the throw and the direction of travel. Once launched, the boomerang traces a smooth arc as it returns, and the player's task is to catch it using a small catcher, controlled by the screen.

Each successful hit earns points and unlocks the next throw. A mistake results in the loss of one life. Missing, touching the ground, or missing the returning boomerang results in a penalty. A streak of five consecutive accurate catches restores one life, adding a chance to extend the game.

With each level, the wind strengthens and begins to change direction mid-flight, making the task increasingly challenging. With vibration enabled, the player feels the difference between a successful catch and a miss—a short pulse for success, a longer pulse for an error.

The boomerang moves realistically, with inertia and energy loss, creating the sensation of a real throw. Atmospheric graphics, fluid physics, and increasing difficulty make each return unpredictable and exciting.
