FileNest is a local-first file manager for Android. No account is required, and core file browsing, organization, and analysis features run directly on your device.

Browse and manage files

• Browse files and folders in device storage

Privacy and permissions

FileNest does not require an account. The current version contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not automatically upload your files to developer-operated servers.

To provide device-wide browsing, search, categorization, and file management, FileNest requests All files access when required. This permission is used only for user-facing file management features and can be revoked at any time in Android settings.

When you choose to share a file, open it with another app, or install an APK, the selected file is passed to the app or Android system component you choose.
