The CARDIOEQUIVALENCIAS calculator is an application developed by Ferrer Internacional, S.A., whose objective is to help health professionals to know the approximate equivalent doses of some ACEIs, ARAS and statins available on the market vs. other salts of the therapeutic group, favoring therapeutic exchange of active ingredients for the management of cardiovascular health.

This application allows to know a practical approach for the change of a therapy based on multiple tablets vs the use of a polypill for cardiovascular prevention in patients with hypertension.

Through the application of several algorithms and tables, the CARDIOEQUIVALENCES calculator shows the equivalent effective daily doses of different ACE inhibitors, ARBs and statins vs ramipril and atorvastatin to facilitate the change of therapy based on the initial values ​​of blood pressure and LDL cholesterol to achieve control adequate blood pressure and lipids for each type of patient.
