3. Get a ping when their friends show up. Turn on alerts for a specific dog and you'll know the next time they're at a park.

Your location is shared only while you're checked in, only with confirmed friends, and it's deleted the moment you check out. There is no background location tracking and no continuous location history. Dogs at the same park see your dog's profile — never your coordinates — and only while you're both actually there. Turn off GPS and you're checked out automatically.
