Internet Memorial Service

The Internet Memorial Service (IMS) mobile app allows users to pay tribute to loved ones anytime and anywhere by creating dedicated memorial webpages. Users can upload texts, photos, and videos to preserve fond memories of the deceased. The app supports creating memorial pages for individuals cremated, buried, or interred in public or private cemeteries and columbariums across Hong Kong.

The system also facilitates reminders for expiring interment periods, with notification features for family members and friends. A simple search function enables the public to browse memorial pages and leave messages. The service is managed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, ensuring reliable verification and personal information updates. For feedback, users can contact memorial@fehd.gov.hk.
