FBReader Premium is a feature-rich, versatile e-book reader praised for format support, deep customization, and cross-device functionality. However, recurring reliability problems—freezes, crashes, and sluggish performance—often surface after updates. Cloud-sync and library synchronization can be inconsistent, with some users unable to access all books across devices. UI/library changes and bookmark-related crashes add to frustrations for others. Despite these issues, many long-time users still view it as a preferred, powerful reader, suggesting the app needs continued maintenance and QA improvements to balance features with stability.

I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to finding a good reading app. so far, this is the one the checks most of the boxes for me (and believe me, I've tried them all!). I use this on a Boox Palma 2.
