Can't opt out of data sharing. +1 star for being so upfront about it, but I won't let my advertising profile be used by social media platforms.

Review summary
Users appreciate the UK's wide radio selection, simplicity, and fast performance of this free app with minimal ads. The intuitive interface and ability to save favourites are also praised. However, some stations do not always work or are missing, and playback interruptions can occur, especially on unstable connections. The app could improve its reconnection and buffering features. Minor UI issues exist with the favourites screen, and privacy concerns are noted about data sharing policies. Overall, it is recognized as a reliable and easy-to-use radio app for UK stations.
Pros
- Simple and easy to use interface with straightforward controls (play, pause, rewind, fast-forward).
- Good and comprehensive selection of UK radio stations, including regional options and the ability to choose favourites.
- Fast loading and efficient performance without draining battery significantly.
- Free to use with no invasive or obtrusive ads or hidden purchases.
- Reliable audio quality and smooth playback under good network conditions. Supports wifi-only streaming option.
Cons
- Some stations are frequently unavailable or do not work properly (e.g., Planet Rock, some regional stations).
- Occasional interruptions or stopping of playback requiring manual restarting.
- Lack of advanced reconnection or buffering algorithm leads to cutouts on intermittent or low-power connections.
- Favourites screen layout issues with untidy display and gaps between station listings.
- No easy opt-out for data sharing/shared advertising profiles, raising privacy concerns.

Perfect so far but needs a buffer for intermittent, low power connections. Long time SiriusXM user, North America, but this app more superior, more selection, and easier to operate and is free to use. Love it.

Very quick to load, simple to use, doesn't drain the battery. Good selection of stations. Downside is some stations simply do not work. Planet Rock for one. Recommended for its speed and simplicity.

I had to dump the BBC. BIG BROTHER CORPORATION They are now like little dictators. Telling people what they think they will like. I can make my own mind up , I dont need to be told. This gives me all I'm after - plain and simple RADIO. Therefore I'm staying here and I'm happy. THANK YOU. P.S. HONESTLY IT IS REALLY, REALLY THAT GREAT PLEASE BELIEVE ME. P.P.S. AND THE B.B.C. IS REALLY , REALLY THAT AWFUL .

Thank you for a really good app with access to many radio stations... You can choose your favourites from a long list, quite a few are same station in different regions too so you know you are getting the best sound for your town.

Irritated by pop ups demanding I review this bloody app. Good point is it has a favourites screen, bad point is, the favourites screen fails to display favourite tidily - lots of big gaps on the screen between listed stations.

Great app. It would be nice having a better reconnection algorithm. Sometimes it stops and you have to click the play button again.
