GoviNet

GoviNet is a farmer-focused mobile application designed to support rural communities with timely, location-based information. The app helps users report nearby wild elephant incidents, view community alerts, and stay informed about potential risks in their surrounding area.

Through simple incident reporting and map-based awareness, GoviNet supports safer decision-making for farmers, villagers, and communities living in areas affected by human-elephant conflict. Users can share important updates, receive nearby alerts, and contribute to a community-driven safety network.

GoviNet is developed with the goal of improving communication, awareness, and community support for farmers in Sri Lanka. The current release focuses on elephant incident reporting and nearby safety updates, while additional agriculture-support features may be introduced in future updates.
