Was very good but Meta are running it down and everything is being slowly removed. Soon it will just be an expensive photo frame. Assuming you will still be able to put photos onto it!

It will not allow me to sign in. It continues giving me an error message saying my Facebook password is incorrect. I've changed my password numerous times and uninstalled the app numerous times. Still, it keeps giving me the same error message. I know the password is correct, but the app on my phone will not accept it.

Still not working at all 09/28/2024. With new encryption, Nothing works!After last update, nothing works. Just the swirling circle... still not working a year later. Sure would love to add a few recent photos...

Portal has been an easy, valuable tool for staying in touch with family. However, one of my favorite things about it is the photo display. I love seeing our memories as I pass by it.... lately, it's the same handful of pics that I see, and I can't open the portal app to find a fix or to add photos. It's very frustrating and sad.

I can't add photos to my portal anymore . The button to click "display on portal" doesn't work. I've tried two difficult phones. I can't believe they would release an expensive device like this and 100 percent abandon it. Screw everyone that supported their company and purchased it. At the very least they could unlock it so third parties could add apps or put the play store on it. I can't believe how hard they screwed everyone over.

I can't even get inside of the app to do anything. It keeps saying "Update your settings to upload photos... Go to your phone's Settings app, tap on Portal, and grant storage permissions." I've checked all the permissions and didn't deny any of them. I've restarted my phone. It still keeps saying that same thing. I just wanted to add some pictures of my family to my portal. Feeling frustrated. Not the best first impression of this app. I love my portal, so it's frustrating that the app stinks.

Portal stopped display slideshow photos properly and the toggle buttons in the Portal App can't be used. Contacted customer support, got the run around, tried a few things I saw suggested online, but they didn't work either. Tried to contact customer support again, and now even the chat is telling me there's an error and ending the chat. No response or solutions is very telling. I wouldn't doubt if there is a class action lawsuit in the near future.

i love the idea of the portal, but it doesn't quite live up to expectations. It has great features, but the one Iwas most excited about is one big glitch. I have over 600 photos my kids send to the portal, but it only shows the same 18 over and over again. I have tried all the tech support, but Meta says they will do an update which will fix the issue. That was about 4 months ago, and still nothing. I read other people's reviews and they have had this same issue for much longer.

How can this app have a score of over 4 with the horrible service it provides! Can't load any pictures and the ones that are already on, more than 90% of them don't display! I have messaged with tech and still get no help! They keep saying they're working on a fix! WELL GET MOVING ON IT ALREADY! IT'S BEEN OVER A YEAR! 😡

they only show about 20 or 30 of the pictures that you post on there and even time I think randomly they change the photos it seems but a lot of the times it seems to cycle through the same ones which kind of defeats the purpose of having you know a photo list but it's a decent enough app you can talk to it and have Alexa do things for you and play music answer questions things like that so that aspect is pretty cool
