Exordos Workspace is a mobile client for Exordos Workspace Server.
Exordos Workspace is a native corporate messenger for teams and organizations.
The app provides mobile access to the Exordos Workspace workspace: personal and group chats, channels, topics, files, folders, notifications, audio and video calls.
Exordos Workspace works with the Exordos Workspace Server and utilizes its own Workspace Messenger API, authentication system, and server-side message storage.
To use the app, you must have a valid account on the Exordos server, either selected by the user or provided by their organization. Exordos Workspace is not a public social network, a universal public messenger, or a standalone public video conferencing service. Access to the workspace, its participants, and its usage rules are determined by the organization managing the server.
The app's main functionality:
• Connect to the Exordos Workspace Server;
• Log in using your organizational account and two-factor authentication;
• View personal and group chats, channels, and topics;
• Sending, receiving, and editing messages;
• Replying to, quoting, and reacting to messages;
• Sending images, documents, and other files;
• Organizing chats using custom folders;
• Viewing participant profiles and channel information;
• Receive notifications and sync messages in real time;
• Starting audio and video calls directly from chats.
Audio and Video Calls
Calls are a built-in feature of Exordos Workspace and are available within the context of work chats. The video calling component is used only for in-app calls and does not provide a separate, publicly accessible video conferencing service.
Permissions
Camera and microphone access is requested when a user starts or joins an audio or video call. These permissions are for audio and video during the call and are not required for viewing or sending regular messages.
User Content
The app displays the content of the connected workspace, including messages, files, folders, private and group chats, channels, threads, user profiles, and call-related data. This content is created by workspace participants and is stored and processed according to the settings of the connected Exordos Workspace Server.
Demo Workspace for Google Play Review
A separate demo workspace is provided for app review. It contains only synthetic test content. It contains demo folders, chats, channels, threads, private messages, files, and user profiles.
Reviewers can send test messages, add reactions, attach test files, and initiate audio or video calls in a dedicated demo chat. Demo data does not represent real users or workflows.
In production workspaces, account creation, access granting, member management, moderation, and administration are performed by the organization or administrators of the corresponding Exordos Workspace Server.
Data Processing
The app connects to an Exordos Workspace Server selected by the user or provided by the organization. Session data, authentication, and account settings can be securely stored locally on the device to ensure the user remains logged in.
Messages, folders, profile data, files, notifications, and call-related data are downloaded from the connected server and transmitted to it as part of the messenger experience. A device notification service registration token can be used to deliver push notifications.
The app does not contain any advertising SDKs. Data management, retention periods, and user rights are performed in accordance with the policies of the organization managing the connected Exordos Workspace Server.
