1. Easily register warehouse transactions by scanning barcodes
With Exact WMS for Exact Globe you can easily register warehouse transactions - such as receipts, reports and issues. You enter the barcodes of your goods using a hand terminal and the information will be automatically processed in Exact Globe: wirelessly and error-free via WIFI. This way you save time and quickly recoup the costs of Exact WMS.
2. Picking orders with a barcode scanner: zero chance of errors
With Exact WMS you no longer need a paper picking list. The picking list is sent directly to a barcode scanner. The scanner then sorts the picking orders per warehouse location. You can combine multiple orders to make picking faster. If there is a difference between the goods picked and the number of goods in the order, Exact WMS can automatically create a backorder and process the rest of the order. Your picking process is so much faster.
3. Determining the fastest picking route and always stocked pick-up locations
Thanks to the 'replenishment' functionality, picking locations in your warehouse are always replenished on time. The solution checks whether the stock at the picking location is large enough and notifies which locations need to be replenished from bulk. This way you avoid unnecessary delays when picking orders. With route optimization you generate the ideal route for a pick list. The software takes batch items and serial number end dates into account. This way you easily control your operational costs.
4. Handling multiple products in one scan saves time
Exact WMS offers more useful functions. With SKU (Stock Keeping Units) Management you can assign a unique number to a stock unit - such as pallet, box or bag. This number is used to process products on that unit in one scan. When receiving goods, Directed Put Away advises you on the best place to put these products in stock.
