PathFinder Way is a practical outdoor GPS, compass and trail navigation app built for hiking, walking, exploration and situations where finding your way back matters.

Use your phone as a reliable field tool to follow your direction, record your route, save important places, navigate GPX trails and quickly share your position when you need help.

• GPS COMPASS & TRUE NORTH
See your heading, bearing, coordinates, altitude and GPS accuracy. True North correction helps give you a more useful direction in the field.

• TRAIL RECORDING & BREADCRUMBS
Start recording and PathFinder Way draws your route as you move. Your track is saved locally so you can review it later or use Return to Start to guide you back.

• GPX IMPORT, FOLLOW & EXPORT
Import GPX trails, follow them forward or in reverse, export your own tracks and share GPX files with other navigation tools.

• MAPS & OFFLINE USE
View topographic map data, saved trails, waypoints and your current position. Cached map tiles can remain available without a connection, while the core GPS and sensor tools continue to work offline.

• RETURN TO START
When you are away from your starting point, PathFinder Way can guide you back with distance, bearing and a visible map line.

• OFF-ROUTE GUIDANCE
While following a trail, the app can warn you when you move too far away from the route and help you correct your direction.

• WAYPOINTS & SAVED PLACES
Save your current location or create a projected waypoint using a distance and bearing. Open saved places later and see their direction and distance from you.

• DISTANCE RULER & ROUTE DRAWING
Measure distance between points on the map, manually sketch a route, or plan trails using BRouter when the BRouter app is installed.

• OUTDOOR INSTRUMENTS
Includes an inclinometer, heading tape, altitude information, GPS status and weather information when an internet connection is available.

• EMERGENCY SOS TOOLS
Quickly prepare an emergency message containing your GPS coordinates and a map link. You can also activate a flashlight SOS pattern or a repeating sound and vibration rescue beacon.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your recorded trails, saved locations and navigation data stay on your device. PathFinder Way does not include advertising networks, user accounts or third-party behavioral analytics.
