MFVU

Are you a member of the MFVU? Then this app makes it easier to view all association information and you stay informed about the latest developments. You can use the app to arrange registrations for events, receive push notifications when ticket sales go online and you can reach the online bookstore more easily.



The Medical Faculty Association VU Medical Center was founded on October 8, 1951 for medical students at the VU University in Amsterdam. With no less than 25 committees, approximately 2500 members and more than 250 active members, the MFVU can achieve a lot. The committees organize a wide range of activities: from a gala to a sports day, from a trip abroad to a theme party and from education-related workshops to a sailing weekend. The MFVU also has its own faculty magazine, InVUus, and its own annual almanac. In addition, the MFVU organizes a great introduction week for new students every year, so that they can get their student life off to a good start.



In addition to organizing the activities, the MFVU is actively committed to education within the Amsterdam UMC, location VU Amsterdam, and the VU. The MFVU board is represented in the OFSO (Faculty Student Organization Consultation) and the IMS (Interfaculty Medical Student Consultation). In addition, the MFVU organizes, among other things, a student forum, the White Coats Ceremony (bachelor's ceremony) and a speed date-the-specialist.



The members' room of the MFVU is open daily from 11:00 to 17:00. Coffee, tea, lemonade and fun are always available here

The MFVU bookstore is open every day from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM.
