I have paid for this app three times in the past, and now they switch to a subscription based service? it won't let me add any new anything unless I subscribe. well screw you ever note. I just built my own app and uninstalled yours

Used and loved this app for over 15 years without issue. Then the pop ups to upgrade got more frequent and obtrusive. But I dealt with it. Then suddenly, the free version only allowed one notebook and 50 notes (including trash), so I had to delete and consolidate old notes just to be able to use the app without being forced to upgrade. Now, I can no longer start or edit a note without being interrupted by a 20-second unskippable ad about AI features. Deleted.
