iRiS Parental Interaction

iRiS Parental Interaction is a Chrome extension designed specifically for parents and legal guardians to interact with and manage their child's Chromebook usage within educational communities using the iRiS solution. This tool enhances digital coexistence at home by enabling parents to supervise and safeguard their children effectively.

Key features include the innovative "PLEASE LISTEN!" function that allows parents to temporarily freeze their child's Chromebook screen to encourage focus on specific tasks. The extension also offers multiple browsing modes configurable via the school’s ICT Administrator, facilitating a smooth online experience with the Internet Filter’s Easy-Override technology. Additionally, the Digital Wellbeing function helps establish rest periods by scheduling screen freezes and browsing mode changes during specific times of the day, ensuring balanced digital habits. All controls are active only outside school hours, emphasizing coordinated school-home management.
