Escudogye is a safety application designed to help individuals and their families respond quickly to emergencies.

The core feature of the app is the SOS system. Users can trigger a standard SOS alert or a silent SOS alert, depending on the situation. Once activated, the app creates an emergency record, captures the user's location, and sends a real-time alert to family members.

One of EscudoGYE’s most critical strengths is its ability to function under limited connectivity. If a user lacks internet access, the alert is not lost; the app saves it locally on the device and synchronizes it automatically once the connection is restored. This same logic applies when stopping an SOS alert, ensuring full functionality even without a network.

Additionally, EscudoGYE includes a Local Mode using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This mode acts as a nearby emergency channel independent of the internet. One device can broadcast a BLE alert while other nearby devices detect it. The app also allows users to silence local alarms and provides BLE diagnostics, such as hardware support status, Bluetooth power state, and required permissions.

The app also facilitates Family Coordination. Users can create a family group, join via invitation codes, receive emergency notifications from relatives, and review recent alert history—all within a single platform.

Regarding security and account management, EscudoGYE includes session handling, family administration, and protected account deletion. To prevent data inconsistencies, users must leave their family group before they can permanently delete their account.
