Candletime - Load Shedding

Introducing Candletime. The load shedding app that promises to stay focused, ad-free and forever free for all. It's simple and elegant and, wait for it, it's the only app of this kind in South Africa that provides a home screen widget to easily see at a glance the Eskom load shedding schedule in your area for the next 48 hours. This translates to less taps trying to look for your load shedding schedule surrounded by annoying ads. You can add specific load shedding hours directly to your Google calendar with a couple of taps for future reminders. Suburb detection is pretty accurate too, but only suburbs that get electricity directly from Eskom are available. If you can't find your suburb it's probably because it gets electricity from the municipality and therefore those schedules are out of reach. Also, the app is only showing current stage schedules at the moment. I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate upcoming stage changes. Watch this space.
