Physical Education teachers, assess your students in numerous sports using the "performance points" system.



🎯 General Overview
EPS EVAL is an application dedicated to physical education teachers. It allows you to conduct your final assessments in almost all physical, sporting, and artistic activities (APSA).

The principle is based on a common foundation for all assessments: bonus points and performance points. (Based on work by the Nancy-Metz Academy, recontextualized by the Dijon Academy in 2025).

📊 Assessment Principles
The tool allows you to combine individual performance (vertical axis) with skills (horizontal axis) to establish a maximum score out of 14 points.

• "Star" Assessment: Performance and skills are not assessed with points but with "Stars" according to the learning area. This avoids confusion with the final grade and maintains a focus on skills.

• Collective Dimension: Skills often involve a collective dimension (education in choice, collective stake).

💡 Explicit Pedagogy
EPS EVAL offers tools to develop explicit assessment:
• Self-assessment: Students can track their performance and/or skills throughout the sequences.

• Common Framework: A system that is easy for both students and teachers to understand for all assessments.

• Simplified Grids: Streamlining of behavioral grids (often ineffective in CA4) for greater clarity.

📝 Grading and Flexibility
• Grading Structure: The combination of AFL1 and AFL2 in the context of motor skills is graded out of 14/20 (using a progressive color code from red to green). The remaining 6/20 points are awarded for social roles and team autonomy.

• Style Points: A specific number of style points defines a bonus that varies according to the student's grade level.

• Target Audience: Primarily formative assessment, which can become summative for 10th or 11th grade (not for certification in the Baccalaureate). The format is also adaptable to middle school (core curriculum areas and AFC).
