RGSwear

The Rehabilitation Gaming System for Wear OS (RGSwear) is a novel rehabilitation approach supported by numerous scientific studies for the treatment of functional deficits due to brain damage.
The core of RGS technology is a software package that has been developed in collaboration with scientists, doctors and, above all, patients. RGSwear relies on wearable technologies (phone and watch) to help optimally recover motor function and well-being. RGSwear relies on reinforcement-induced movement therapy (RIMT). Continuous tracking and personalized feedback aim to encourage the patient to use the paretic limb, avoiding entering a vicious cycle of non-use of the limb. The application provides the patient with personalized messages about their state of improvement and includes an exercise to monitor motor recovery over time.
