DISH ALIGNMENT WITH A LIVE COMPASS
Pick your city and a satellite. You get the three values that matter:

* Azimuth — where to point the dish
* Elevation — how high to tilt it
* LNB skew — how far to twist the LNB

Then tap the compass. The pointer aims straight at your satellite and
tells you how many degrees you still have to turn — no writing numbers
down, no switching back and forth.

A COMPASS BUILT FOR DISH WORK
Ordinary phone compasses only read correctly while the phone lies flat.
Ours is tilt compensated, so the value holds even when you hold the
phone at an angle on a roof.

Magnetic declination is stored for every city and calculated with the
World Magnetic Model, so the compass bearing is the true bearing.
The app also warns you when metal nearby is distorting the reading —
better an honest warning than a wrong number.

NO COMPASS ON YOUR PHONE? USE THE SUN
The sun method gives you the exact minute when the sun stands in the
same direction as your satellite. Line up the shadow and you are
aimed. No compass, no GPS.
